Johnny Cash created his own musical style that spanned fifty years. From his fundamental recordings during the birth of rock’n’roll in 1955, to his chart topping prison albums of the late 1960s, his television series in the 1970s and his spine-tingling American Recordings in the 1990s, Johnny Cash was a unique and unshakeable force in popular music.

Walk The Line
Johnny Cash passed away on September 13, 2003 at the age of 71, but has since touched a legion of new fans with the release of ‘Walk The Line’ in 2005, the Academy Award-winning movie based on Johnny Cash's career and life with June Carter Cash.
